OS9MAX MANAGE OS-9 DISK IMAGE FILES ON PC
SUPPORTED OS-9 DISK FORMATS
Our software OS9MAXIM supports all OS-9 RBF image files. All disk devices which have been stored as image files (complete physical disk into a single file on PC) can be handled with this version of our software. This allows to backup any OS-9 device on PC without the need to restore the original device if the backup data is needed in the future. OS9MAXIM is capable of interpreting the image file on the PC disk or CD-ROM as a physical OS-9 device. OS9MAXIM will also ease the total OS-9 on PC backup. Any device may be stored as a disk image file on PC and may later be accessed from the PC backup device with OS9MAXIM. This will provide full data access even if you will have no access to your real OS-9 VMEbus system in the future centuries.
OS9MAXIM includes tools to save real OS-9 devices such as diskette, hard disks, MOD, PC-Cards (PCMCIA devices), IDE disk, SCSI disk to disk image files.
